You can check out this entire excellent mix (completely out of order!) at YouTube:
Or you can hear it in order, but missing a couple of tracks, via Spotify. And why isn’t AC/DC on Spotify, anyway? What is this un-Australian nonsense?
This is SO GREAT. I have been dissappointed with how little Aussie music shows up in Mad Max mixes, and these are good choices, especially Where the Boys Are and So Much Fun omg. While listening I also thought of Red Right Hand by Nick Cave and The Honeymoon is Over by The Cruel Sea. Man, now I want a “The Honeymoon is Over” vid about the wives. You make vids, don’t you Liz?
You should put this on tumblr so I can reblog it 🙂
I DO. I’m adding that to my mental list of songs to vid when Fury Road comes out on DVD.
Sweet 😀
I TUMBLRED IT DOCTOR SQBR
AND I HAVE RETUMBLERED IN RETURN
EXCELLENCE.
I don’t think I’ve ever heard Khe Sanh without a background of forty drunk Aussie bros bawling along. It sounds so bizarre to me without the pub noise. And without standing on sticky floors trying not to slosh your beer too much while you sing along.
